Maybe it's just me,
But the sunshine today made me happier than I have been in long time.
I felt like today anything was possible.
I was someone else, someone new.
I'm giving up on being sad all the time.
I'm giving up on being used all the time.
I'm giving up on waiting for things that, lets face it, just aren't gonna happen.
Starting Fresh.
Starting New.
Changed.Altered.
Refreshed.Renewed.
Different.

You know that feeling you get when everything is going right?
And you couldn't be happier?
That's how I felt today.
I went for a walk with my sister.
My sister is one of the only people I can stand right now.
I trust her completely.
I'd put my life in her hands, no question.
But I worry about her too.
On our walk today, I got kind of sad.
I know I can't protect her from things like boys who have no heart,
Or from drugs that will ruin her mind.
But I want to all the same.
I'm also incredibly jealous of her.
She's so fun.
So fearless, so outgoing.
Seemingly Carefree.
I Just Don't Wanna Lose You.
Don't Get So Caught Up In The Drugs,
Don't Lose Yourself.
And you couldn't be happier?
That's how I felt today.

I Need A Hand To Hold.
I thought to myself, he was one boy who couldn't hurt me.
Turns out I was wrong.
I can't look at your face without imagining your lips on hers.
I can't look at your hands without imagining them all over her body.
I can't look at your anything without seeing her.
But honestly, I'm happy for you.

Honestly, I'm glad you love her.
See this fake enthusiasm?
I guess I'm not "back up" anymore.
You don't need back up, seeing as the two of you are so in love.
I hate that you think I had waaay more chances than her, since I've known you longer.
Well, sorry I don't automatically assume everyone is in love with me.
How was I to know I even had a chance ?
I'm not so good with subtlety !
You asked me out for lunch today.
I said no.
You asked me to come see a movie today.
I said no.
I'm not busy, I just don't want to.
